From Brick Kilns to the Call of God

My father worked in brick kilns for more than forty years. Though he had no formal education, his faith in God was deep and unwavering. He taught us Bible stories with passion and often reminded us, “God can do everything, and He makes all things possible when we ask Him in faith” (Matthew 21:22). Through him, I learned to trust God completely.
As a child, I witnessed prayer services being held in secret because we were not allowed to worship freely. Yet through persistent prayer, God touched hearts and opened doors. These moments taught me that God hears the cries of the oppressed and responds in His perfect time.
While working in the brick kilns, I carried a deep desire for education and a longing to understand God’s purpose for my life. Many times, I prayed and asked why education seemed beyond my reach. I promised God that if He opened the door for me, I would dedicate my life to helping children and families rise from zero to hero.
God answered my prayers. Through His grace, a Christian teacher came into my life and helped me begin my education. Step by step, God led me forward—from the brick kilns to learning, growth, and ultimately into ministry.
Today, as an Evangelist and Missionary, I know my calling was shaped in hardship. The brick kilns did not define my destiny—God did. My life stands as a testimony that no background is too broken and no beginning too small for God to use.

“The Lord raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap” (Psalm 113:7).
