My Story
Evangelist & Missionary Patras Boota
I am Evangelist & Missionary Patras Boota, a devoted servant of Jesus Christ, called to be a beacon of faith, hope, and transformation in Pakistan. Known for my unwavering commitment to the Gospel, I dedicate my life to spreading the love, hope, and power of Christ, bringing light and life to the most marginalized communities. As the Founder and Chairman of Uriah Welfare Organization, a registered Christian nonprofit under the Government of Pakistan and the Punjab Charity Commission, I have the privilege of leading a movement rooted in faith, compassion, and service—empowering the oppressed, uplifting the vulnerable, and sharing God’s love with those in need.
Early Life & Spiritual Foundation
I was born on June 3, 1993, into a humble brick kiln family. Though my early life was marked by poverty and hardship, it was rich in faith. My father labored in brick kilns for more than 40 years and often reminded me,
“God can do everything, and He makes all things possible when we ask Him in faith” (Matthew 21:22).
From my parents, I learned to trust God fully, treasure His Word, and believe in the power of prayer.
From childhood, my spiritual growth was shaped by my father. Although uneducated, he had deep knowledge of Bible stories and a strong faith in God. He taught me and my siblings the stories of the Bible with great passion, shaping our faith from an early age.

He also shared Bible stories with other workers in the brick kilns, spreading God’s Word among families living in hardship.
In 1985, my father and other brick kiln workers founded a small church at the brick factory. Because the kiln owner did not allow them to practice their faith freely, prayer services were held secretly. Through continuous prayer and faith, God touched the owner’s heart, and he eventually allowed them one hour of prayer each Friday.
Later, they connected with Pastor Yaqoob Masih, who visited monthly. Though he could not be present weekly, his visits strengthened our faith. My father also encouraged me to learn the Bible so that one day I could serve God as a pastor. This foundation nurtured a deep hunger for Jesus Christ and a strong desire for education, even while I worked in the brick kilns. In prayer, I asked God why education seemed out of reach and promised that if He opened the door, I would dedicate my life to helping children and families rise from Zero to Hero.
God answered my prayers. By His grace, a Christian teacher, Samuel Gill, visited our home and offered to teach me. With my father’s permission, I joined The Lord Public Middle School, where he mentored me until his passing. His guidance laid a strong spiritual and moral foundation for my calling as a Christian missionary.
“Train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6).
Today, as Evangelist and Missionary Patras Boota, my life reflects that early training, sacrifice, and faith. What began with my father’s devotion and simple Bible stories has grown into a lifelong mission to serve God and help underprivileged children rise from zero to hero.
My Mission
Zero to Hero is to:
From 2012 to 2020, I served in multiple Christian schools, gaining both professional and spiritual experience. God shaped me during these years to lead effectively as an Evangelist & Missionary, combining education, discipleship, and evangelism. Out of this journey, the mission “Zero to Hero” was born, inspired by 1 John 3:18:
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
As Founder and Chairman of Uriah Welfare Organization, I oversee programs that bring hope, opportunity, and transformation:
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord” (Proverbs 19:17).
My Story
Personal Life & Faith
My journey as a missionary has been filled with both blessings and challenges. In the early years of ministry, I built deep connections with people, serving with love and dedication. Over time, many became busy with their own lives, leaving me to face moments of loneliness and spiritual testing. There were times of sorrow, confusion, and doubt, when I questioned the value of my mission.
In those moments, I turned to God’s Word. The Holy Spirit renewed my spirit and reminded me I was never alone.
“I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20).
God restored my strength, renewed my calling, and reminded me that perseverance in His work brings eternal fruit.
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31).
God blessed my missionary calling with a faithful partner, Hina Tabassum, who walks beside me in ministry. We were married on October 22, 2017, and God blessed us with a son, Uriah Patras, born on July 29, 2018. Hina serves faithfully alongside me in the Church, Sunday School, and as Principal of The Knowledge Zone School. She is not only my wife but also my true missionary partner.
“Two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
I completed my early education at The Lord Public Middle School, continued Grades 9–10 under the Lahore Board, completed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) at Forman Christian College, Lahore, and earned a B.A. from Punjab University. Education became a powerful tool not only for personal growth but also for fulfilling God’s calling. I became determined to remove barriers faced by marginalized children and empower them through learning. “For I know the plans I have for you” (Jeremiah 29:11).
In 2011, responding to God’s call, I founded the Uriah Welfare Organization, and today I serve as its Founder and Chairman. On February 12, 2012, I established The Knowledge Zone School, dedicated to educating brick kiln and street children. Through outreach in brick kilns and impoverished communities, I witnessed widespread child labor, illiteracy, and exploitation. These realities strengthened my resolve to serve not only as an evangelist but also as a social reformer, standing for justice, dignity, and freedom. “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed” (Isaiah 1:17).
A Life of Mission & Transformation
From the brick kilns of my childhood to leading a national ministry, my life is a testimony that God can transform hardship into purpose. As an Evangelist & Missionary, social reformer, and Founder & Chairman of Uriah Welfare Organization, my calling is to bring hope, education, freedom, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached and marginalized.
Through Uriah Welfare Organization, I continue to serve communities across Pakistan—shining God’s light, restoring dignity, and transforming lives from zero to hero.
“Let your light shine before others” (Matthew 5:16).
