About Me
Evangelist and Young Missionary Patras Boota Born into a humble brick kiln family on June 3, 1993, I learned early that faith can overcome any hardship. Guided by God’s wisdom, I made a promise to dedicate my life to serving others. Today, I lead Uriah Welfare Organization, creating opportunities for education, spiritual growth, and freedom for marginalized communities across Pakistan.
God can transform any story of struggle into a mission of hope, freedom, and transformation
Education is the cornerstone of transformation. Founded in 2012, The Knowledge Zone School provides quality education to marginalized children, particularly those from brick kiln communities and street families. The school nurtures not only academic growth but also spiritual development, instilling values of faith, hope, and perseverance.
Recognizing the immediate needs of vulnerable communities, the organization began Food and Medical Support Initiatives in 2012. These programs ensure access to nutritious food, basic healthcare, and medical assistance, helping families survive and thrive even in the most difficult circumstances.
Child labor is a pressing issue in Pakistan’s brick kiln industry. In 2013, the Brick Kiln Freedom and Education Program was launched to rescue children from exploitation, provide them with education, and create a path toward a brighter future. This initiative combines awareness, advocacy, and practical support for families living in extreme poverty.
Orphans are among the most vulnerable in society. Since 2014, the Orphan Support Program has offered shelter, education, and emotional care to children who have lost their parents, ensuring they grow up with dignity, hope, and the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Faith is central to the mission. In 2015, Evangelist Patras Boota established The Church of the Redeemer, a spiritual home for communities where they can worship freely, learn about God’s Word, and grow in faith together. Sunday School in Pakistan (2015–Present) Recognising the importance of early spiritual education, Sunday School programs were launched in 2015. These programs provide children with biblical teachings, moral guidance, and a strong spiritual foundation to navigate life with faith and integrity.
To spread the Gospel and make God’s Word accessible to all, the organization began Free Urdu Bible Distribution in 2018. Thousands of families have received Bibles, enabling them to study Scripture in their native language.
Empowerment through skill-building is key to sustainable change. Founded in 2020, the Uriah Sewing Centre trains women and youth in practical skills, enabling them to earn a living, support their families, and gain independence.
In response to natural disasters and emergencies, the Disaster Support Program was launched in 2022. This initiative provides immediate relief, including food, shelter, and medical aid, helping communities recover and rebuild their lives.
Education should never be out of reach. The Sponsorship & Scholarship Program, started in 2022, ensures that bright and needy students have the opportunity to study, break the cycle of poverty, and pursue their dreams with dignity and confidence.
